Jessica Butland is the Founder and Managing Director of Radioactive, a leading production and distribution company, pushing new boundaries within Australia and New Zealand. Jessica focuses on development, financing, and production.
Biography
In addition to producing films for her own company, Radioactive, Jessica is also a highly experienced Production Manager and Line Producer having worked on many projects helping to bring their stories to screen.
Having already produced four feature films, Jessica and her team at Radioactive have many more in various stages of development.. Ruby’s Choice was one of the first films to be shot in Australia during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. This production, whilst challenging proved to be highly successful.
Jessica also saw a need in the industry for a distributor to champion Australian film. Her aim is to enhance the commercial value of Australian stories and their ability to perform both nationally and internationally.
