About the Film
In a bleak future where only the wealthy can afford clean, secure living, an exclusive residential complex known as Sanctum is built atop the remains of a long-abandoned mental asylum.
Walt, a state-indentured labourer, accepts what appears to be a straightforward caretaker role at the newly rebuilt complex. With few residents and most systems automated, Sanctum promises an easy path toward retirement and a chance to leave his past behind.
But as the residents begin to experience disturbing dreams, behavioral changes, and unexplained incidents, cracks start to form in Sanctum’s pristine facade. Whispers of the site’s history resurface, and Walt finds himself increasingly unsettled by the sense that the building remembers more than it should.
