Gazza, born Gary Buckle, is an East London native known for his knack for petty crime—what some might call an “honest thief,” if such a thing exists. After spending much of his life in and out of trouble, Gazza now faces a serious financial crisis. With mounting care home costs for his elderly grandmother and a debt of £35,000 hanging over him, he finds himself in desperate need of quick cash.
On a visit to the care home, while grappling with how to break the news of his predicament, Gazza overhears a conversation that sparks a wild idea. From this chance encounter with a Jamaican grandmother and her grandson, Gazza embarks on a madcap scheme that takes him from the streets of London to the vibrant heart of Jamaica.
With just 21 days to raise the money, Gazza must pull off the biggest con of his life—by impersonating a Jamaican. What follows is a chaotic, comedic adventure where Gazza’s survival depends on mastering his new identity, all while staying one step ahead of danger.
