Logline
With her difficult Ex standing in the way of her moving on in her life, Sophie seeks to set him up with another woman, but she never expected this other woman to turn her own world upside down.
Synopsis
Sophie is desperate to reclaim the vineyard she co-owns with her difficult and manipulative ex-husband, Kane who refuses to let go. When legal tactics fail, she turns to EX-TRACT—an app designed to set difficult “Exes” up with new partners. EX-tract finds Valentine, a charismatic sommelier, perfect for Kane, who immediately takes the bait, which allows Sophie to finally taste freedom. But as Sophie and Valentine forge an unexpectedly close friendship, cracks form in Sophie’s relationship with her new boyfriend, Brody. Jealous of their relationship, Brody exposes the truth behind the setup with Kane. Hurt and betrayed, Valentine vanishes. Now, Sophie must fight for forgiveness and prove that what began as a scheme, could actually be something real.
